Information

The AMBER Postdoctoral Fellowship is a funded postdoctoral programme giving researchers access to large-scale European imaging and neutron/X-ray research infrastructures. Fellowships are employment contracts of 36 months hosted at partner institutions (examples in this call include Lund University and EMBL Grenoble) and include salary and research costs. The programme is funded through the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND scheme and coordinated by LINXS.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD at the application deadline (or have successfully defended the thesis), have no more than eight years of research experience since PhD award, have at least one original peer-reviewed publication accepted by the deadline, be available to start at the announced start date, and meet MSCA mobility rules (not have resided or carried out main activity in the host country for more than 12 months in the three years before the deadline, except for Geneva Convention refugees).

Application

Submit applications in English as PDF through the AMBER portal; required documents include Europass CV, a detailed research plan (max 3 pages) plus 1-page summary, two reference letters, draft Individual Career Development Plan, proof of English (CEFR B2), and letter(s) of commitment for secondment partners. Candidates may apply to up to three individual positions with separate applications for each.
