USA Biology Olympiad (USABO)

The USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) is the premier national biology competition for high school students in the United States. After two rounds of online exams, twenty finalists are invited to a residential national finals training program where they receive advanced instruction and laboratory training. Top performers earn selection to the USA Biolympiad Team to represent the United States at the International Biology Olympiad.

Finalists attend a residential national finals training program with advanced biology instruction and lab training; top students are selected to represent the USA at the International Biology Olympiad and may win international medals.

Open to high school students in the United States who are registered through a participating host school; individual (parent) registrations are not accepted and student registration must be completed by the school's Test Administrator.

Schools register via a Test Administrator and pay a $125 registration fee per school; once a school is registered and activated, students register through their school's Test Administrator.
