World Bank Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) 2027

The World Bank Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) is a competitive entry program that begins with a two-year leadership development track and forms the first stage of a five-year employment contract with the World Bank Group. It recruits talented professionals for roles across the World Bank (WB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Participants gain professional assignments, leadership development, and opportunities to work on international development, finance and policy projects while building an international professional network.

Basic life and accident insurance, pension plan access, eligible relocation and resettlement support, mobility and visa assistance, paid leave (26 days annual leave, 15 days sick leave, parental leave provisions), and workplace facilities such as health services, fitness center, childcare facilities and lactation room.

Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 1990; hold a master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field; have a specialization aligned with a WBG YPP business area; have relevant professional experience or be enrolled in a doctoral program; demonstrate fluency in English; and meet nationality requirements connected to World Bank Group member countries or countries of operation.
