Information

The Norwegian Centres of Excellence (SFF) scheme provides long-term basic funding for research centres that organise ambitious, collaborative research activities aimed at advancing the international research frontier. Phase 2 is the second stage of a two-phase application process and is reserved for applicants prequalified from Phase 1. Successful centres enter a contract with the Research Council of Norway and their host institution to receive SFF funding. The call is open to proposals across all disciplines and research areas.

Eligibility

Phase 2 is reserved for applicants prequalified from the SFF-VI Phase 1 assessment. Only approved Norwegian research organisations may serve as the Project Owner (host institution).

Application

Phase 2 applications must be submitted by prequalified applicants; the host institution must be listed as Project Owner and the project manager must meet specified qualification and employment requirements.
