Information

The program provides a $5,000 stipend for the summer fellowship, with payments issued in two installments upon acceptance and completion of the award. The aim is to attract young scientists to Huntington disease research and advance HD-related research outcomes.

Benefits

Stipend of $5,000 for 12 weeks; mentored research experience and opportunity to contribute to Huntington disease research; acknowledgement in publications/abstracts.

Eligibility

Open to enrolled undergraduate life sciences students currently attending accredited institutions in Canada; applications may also be accepted for the summer after graduating, after the first year of medical school, or after a year working as a laboratory technician, with a mentor’s letter of support.
