John Niland Scholarship

It is awarded on the basis of academic merit to commencing full-time undergraduate students. Eligible applicants must have recent completion of the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB and meet residency and ATAR requirements. No application is required. candidates are assessed automatically by UNSW.

Applicants must have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the previous two years with no tertiary study during that period and achieved a minimum ATAR of 95; be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa holders); be commencing full-time undergraduate study in Term 1, 2027; and have lived in a rural, regional or remote area within the two years prior to starting UNSW studies.

No application required; students will be assessed on academic merit by UNSW.
