Faculty of Science Honours Scholarships - Term 3, 2026

The Faculty of Science Honours Scholarships are a set of faculty-level scholarships for students commencing honours study in the UNSW Faculty of Science in 2026. Individual awards (examples listed) include discipline-specific endowed honours awards and an Indigenous honours award, each normally providing a monetary payment for one year. Eligibility and selection criteria vary by named scholarship and include academic merit, aptitude and commitment to the field, and in some cases citizenship or Indigenous status. Applicants submit an online application with supporting documentation to be considered for one or more of the listed honours scholarships.

$5,000 payment for one year for each listed named honours award (amounts shown per award).

Applicants must be commencing full-time Honours study in the UNSW Faculty of Science in Term 1, 2 or 3, 2026. Individual scholarships have additional criteria (examples: some require Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency; the Indigenous award requires Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity verification).

Submit an online application and provide supporting documentation as required; incomplete or late documentation will not be assessed.
