UNSW Exchange Scholarships & Awards (2026)

The UNSW Exchange Scholarships & Awards program provides a range of scholarships and one-off awards to support UNSW coursework students undertaking an official outbound Exchange Program in 2026. Awards are offered across faculties and areas, vary in value, and are intended to assist with the costs of studying overseas. Some awards require an application (for example via a UAC Equity Scholarship application) while others automatically consider eligible students without a separate scholarship application. Offers are made competitively using academic merit (Weighted Average Mark) for awards that do not require an application.

Monetary one-off payments or awards to assist with exchange study costs; values vary by named award (examples: $2,000; $5,000; $7,000; up to $8,500).

Eligible students are UNSW coursework students who have been selected for and accepted an Official UNSW Exchange Program in 2026. Some specific awards have additional eligibility (for example faculty enrolment or Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency). Inbound exchange or Study Abroad students should contact the Study Abroad and Exchange team for information on available awards.

Some awards require no separate scholarship application and eligible students will be automatically considered using WAM; other awards require an appropriate UAC Equity Scholarship application by the specified UAC deadlines.
