MS/PhD Scholarships 2027 at University of St Andrews

The University of St Andrews offers two postgraduate scholarship routes for 2027 entry: the St Leonard’s Master’s Scholarship for International Students and the World-Leading Doctoral Scholarships. The Master’s Scholarship provides partial to full tuition coverage plus an £18,000 stipend depending on the award category, while the Doctoral Scholarships cover full tuition plus an annual stipend for PhD candidates. Applications follow separate processes for each route, with deadlines in early 2027.

Tuition coverage (partial to full for Master’s; full for PhD) and annual stipend; accommodation is not guaranteed and must be paid from resources where applicable.

Open to international students for eligible Master’s degrees (one-year taught Master’s or certain two-year taught/research Master’s) and to UK and overseas applicants for PhD programmes.
