British Council 90th Anniversary Research Fellowships

The British Council 90th Anniversary Research Fellowships are two fully funded, 12-month fellowships awarded to postdoctoral researchers based in any ODA-recipient country where the British Council operates. Fellows spend the first ten months at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh, followed by up to two months in their home country focusing on knowledge exchange and dissemination, with a bursary, travel support, desk space, library access and academic mentoring included.

Bursary, travel expenses, dedicated office space, university email access, library access, mentoring, weekly fellows’ events and opportunities to participate in funded workshops and colloquia.

Applicants must be postdoctoral researchers who have completed a PhD (normally within the last seven years) and must be based in an ODA-recipient country where the British Council operates.
