The Nonprofit Open Source Partnership 2026 provides free technical support and open-source transformation for nonprofit organizations, including 800 hours of development carried out by a team of student developers and mentors. The program aims to help nonprofits convert tools to open-source assets, improve documentation, and adopt open-source best practices. It is a collaborative effort between Bloomberg, Develop for Good, CodeDay, and Fast Forward, with a focus on community impact and open collaboration.

Eligibility

Open to registered nonprofit organizations that have an existing tool or project ready to open-source, and that can commit 2–3 hours per week for 16 weeks for collaboration.
