Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowships

The Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowships are an international research fellowship programme hosted by the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy. The fellowship is designed for experienced academics and researchers with a strong international reputation, allowing them to reside at the EUI to pursue their research while engaging in seminars, workshops, and scholarly activities. Fellows may work with departments such as Economics, History, and Political and Social Sciences, for up to 10 months depending on funding and department needs.

Monthly stipend; office space; library and research resources; seminars and workshops; international networking; potential teaching or supervision responsibilities; visa/residence support.

Applicants must be experienced researchers or academics with an international reputation and hold relevant research proposals aligned with participating departments.
