The Irish Aid Civil Society Fund is an annual grant programme administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (Irish Aid) to support overseas development projects delivered by eligible Irish and invited international civil society organisations. The programme aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations to contribute to sustainable development and address long-term humanitarian challenges. Grants range from €50,000 to €800,000 per year and can be provided for up to five years. Projects must be implemented in countries classified by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) as eligible for assistance and meet the DAC definition of Official Development Assistance (ODA).
