Postgraduate Access and Equity Scholarship

The Postgraduate Access and Equity Scholarship is a Murdoch University scholarship that provides support and incentive for postgraduate students from backgrounds of financial or personal hardship to continue their studies. It is available for eligible postgraduate coursework programs such as Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas and Master's by Coursework. The scholarship provides partial funding in the form of a tuition fee waiver to assist recipients with study costs.

Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents with a Humanitarian Visa, or permanent residents who have been in Australia continuously for the last 12 months; must be a postgraduate student at Murdoch University; must demonstrate financial hardship; must intend to enrol in an eligible postgraduate coursework course; excluded are those enrolled in Commonwealth HECS-supported postgraduate courses such as the Master of Teaching or Master of Applied Psychology in Clinical Psychology.

Applications open from the first week of September each year. Applicants must prepare evidence of financial and personal hardship, statements addressing circumstances and goals (up to two A4 pages each), and required documents, and submit via the official scholarship application process.
