About this opportunity
The Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant 2026 is a global open call granting financial support and mentorship to young and emerging photographers starting their career in photojournalism. The recipient receives financial support, equipment loan, and opportunities for publication and professional development through a network of industry partners and mentors.
Benefits & funding
£10,000 towards the project; loan of Canon equipment; publication of images by The Guardian; eligibility for Hamburg portfolio review; eligibility for VII Mentorship programme; year-long personal mentorship with an assignment from a renowned photojournalist; Gentex Corp Personal Safety Award including equipment and training; potential professional commission via Save the Children; finalists and selected entrants showcased by judges and IPPG channels.
