Postdoctoral Researcher in Climate Democracy

The University of Helsinki seeks a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to an interdisciplinary Climate Democracy project exploring community-based democratic responses to climate turbulence. The position supports research across environmental and social sciences, including deliberative assemblies, ecological urban design, environmental justice and democratic innovations, and is linked to the Finnish Research Council Profi9-funded Climate Democracy project. The appointment is fixed-term for three years, with potential extension, and the starting date is January 2027 with a monthly salary in the range of €3,700–€4,000.
