The AGNES-BAYER Science Foundation Research Grant for Biodiversity Conservation & Sustainable Agriculture in sub-Saharan Africa enables doctoral students from sub-Saharan African countries to undertake research activities in biodiversity conservation and sustainable agriculture. The grant aims to support African PhD students to implement activities that are part of their doctoral research in any sub-Saharan African country, including field experiments, data collection, or laboratory studies. A maximum grant of EUR 7,000 will be awarded to each successful applicant.

Eligibility

Direct applications from young researchers who have published at least one scientific paper and are registered for a Doctoral degree in a sub-Saharan African university are considered.
