QuantERA

QuantERA is a European network supporting research and innovation in quantum technologies through transnational, competitive project funding. The programme supports scientists at universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research divisions working in quantum physics. Projects have a maximum duration of 36 months and typical individual project budgets for Austrian applicants are indicated in the range of €300,000 to €450,000. The FWF co-finances Austria's participation in QuantERA calls.

Project grant funding (typical project budgets €300,000–€450,000 for Austrian applicants) and support for research activities for up to 36 months.

Scientists from universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments active in the field of quantum physics may apply.

Competitive project-based calls; decisions made by the FWF Kuratorium on the basis of a recommendation from the call secretariat. Submission is currently not possible (call closed).
