IIE-SRF Fellowship 2025

The Institute of International Education Scholar Rescue Fund (IIE-SRF) Fellowship 2025 provides year-long fellowships for threatened and displaced scholars at partnering higher education institutions worldwide. Fellows receive a year-long research and/or teaching appointment, a fellowship grant, health insurance, relocation funding, and professional development support, among other benefits. Applications are open to professors, researchers, and public intellectuals facing threats and who cannot continue their work in their home countries.

Year-long research/teaching appointment; fellowship grant up to $25,000 (often renewable for a second year); health insurance; relocation funding; professional development support; access to networks and opportunities to share work.

Open to professors, researchers, and public intellectuals who face threats and cannot continue their work in their home countries. Scholars from any country and in any academic field may qualify.
