The Palmer | Starkoff Regional Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship for domestic commencing students who have experienced financial disadvantage and completed secondary schooling in specified metropolitan areas outside Brisbane or in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The scholarship supports students enrolled full-time in a specified list of bachelor's and professional programs at the University of Queensland. The scholarship was established by donations from Jodi Palmer and Paul Starkoff and awards $4,000 per year.

Eligibility

Commencing undergraduate students who can demonstrate financial disadvantage, completed secondary schooling in the year immediately prior to first year at UQ in specified metropolitan areas outside Brisbane or in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth; do not hold another similar scholarship; enrolled full-time in a listed program; and are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents (including humanitarian visas), or New Zealand citizens.
