Alumni Friends Founders Scholarship

The Alumni Friends Founders Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship at the University of Queensland for commencing domestic bachelor students who demonstrate significant financial disadvantage. The scholarship provides a one-year award to support study and is part of the Aspire Scholarship Program. It was established by the Alumni Friends Society under the Create Change Scholarship match initiative in 2020.

$4,500 paid as a scholarship for one year.

Domestic students enrolling as commencing students in any bachelor program at UQ in semester 1 in the year of the scholarship, who have not completed prior tertiary bachelor-level study, can demonstrate significant financial disadvantage via maximum points in QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme, and have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship.

Apply using the online application form; a single application to the Aspire Scholarship scheme covers consideration for this scholarship. Applicants need a QTAC application number or UQ student number and a personal statement.
