Information

The Clark-Ryan Family Scholarship is a one-year undergraduate scholarship for Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship. The scholarship awards at least $4,500 to recipients. It is open to students enrolled in any undergraduate program at the University of Queensland and is part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme. Preference is given to applicants from Quandamooka country and to those studying health sciences, commerce, economics, science or law.

Eligibility

Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons who can demonstrate financial hardship and who are enrolled in any undergraduate program in the semester of the award.

Apply using the University of Queensland online application form; one application covers multiple UQ scholarship schemes. Applicants may need to upload supporting documentation (financial statements, proof of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status, academic records, evidence of community service/leadership).
