Information

The Paulsen Family Aspire Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship awarded through The University of Queensland's Aspire Scholarship Program. It provides financial support to a commencing domestic bachelor student who can demonstrate significant financial disadvantage and is first in their family to attend university. The scholarship was established by the Paulsen Family under the Create Change Scholarship match initiative and is awarded for one year.

$4,500 scholarship for one year

Eligibility

Domestic students (per the University's Student Fees Policy) enrolling as a commencing student in any bachelor program at UQ in semester 1 in the year of the scholarship; have not completed prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher; must demonstrate significant financial disadvantage by achieving the maximum points for the 'Financial Hardship' category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme; have been awarded The Queensland Commitment Scholarship; and be first in family to attend university.

Application

Apply using the online application form; submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme (QTAC application number or UQ student number and a personal statement are required).
