LabStart Fellowship Cohort 2027

LabStart is a two-phase fellowship designed to help early-stage climate technology entrepreneurs develop and launch new climate-focused companies. It provides financial and in-kind support, access to technologies from U.S. research institutions, expert instruction, coaching, and a network of potential customers and funders. The program supports participants from idea stage toward launching a company, with a Discovery Phase of four months followed by a 12-month Launch Phase.

Open to entrepreneurs who are ready to launch a climate technology company, including nontraditional founders, women, BIPOC founders, and first-time founders.

Applicants describe their background, startup idea, and area of climate technology interest; outline their proposed solution and choose a technology challenge identified by LabStart’s partners.
