British Library Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Sustainability and Environment 2025

A collections-based postdoctoral fellowship at the British Library for early career researchers in arts, humanities or social sciences to develop projects connected to sustainability and the environment. The fellowship offers a bursary to support four months of full-time research at the Library, with additional funds for travel, and access to Library facilities and staff support. Applicants propose projects exploring British Library collections related to sustainability and environment and may produce outputs such as articles, talks, or other engagements.

£8,000 bursary; up to £2,000 travel funding; staff pass, laptop, and desk space.

Open to all researchers within 10 years of their PhD, who are resident in the UK.
