Medyk NAWA Programme

The Medyk NAWA Programme funds the employment of licensed medical professionals (physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, laboratory diagnosticians, physiotherapists and paramedics) at Polish higher education institutions to deliver teaching assignments and strengthen didactic potential. The Programme invites representatives of medical professions working abroad to be employed by eligible Polish HEIs for at least half of full working time. The activity aims to increase international cooperation in medical education and share up-to-date professional knowledge and practices.

Enables employment at a Polish HEI with teaching assignments (minimum ½ working time) and administrative/organisational support from the Employing Institution, including assistance with recognition of qualifications and obtaining licenses to practise in Poland.

Applications may be submitted by Polish higher education institutions providing education in medical professions. Eligible candidates ('Medics') must be licensed to practise in their country of current employment, have been employed in the profession or teaching at a foreign HEI for at least 12 months prior to application, speak Polish or English fluently in contacts with patients and students, and must not have resided or been employed in Poland within 12 months prior to application.

Applications are submitted only electronically via the Agency’s ICT System; the Application must be completed in Polish (appendices may be in Polish or English).
