HII School Readiness Scholarship Program

The HII School Readiness Scholarship Program provides need-based awards to help dependents of HII employees enroll in tuition-based school readiness programs for the upcoming school year. Scholarships are administered by Scholarship America and are available to eligible children meeting the program's criteria. Recipients receive up to $3,000, with up to fifty awards granted annually; awards are not renewable and applicants may reapply in subsequent years if eligible.

Financial award up to $3,000 for tuition-based school readiness programs; non-renewable awards; eligibility to reapply in future years if still eligible.

Eligible applicants must be tax dependent children ages 3, 4, or 5 as of September 30, 2026, of a full-time U.S.-based employee with two or more years of continuous employment with HII as of the application deadline; children may be biological, step- or adopted and must be living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.

Applications are submitted on behalf of the eligible child through Scholarship America's platform; each child requires a separate profile and application with appropriate information.
