University of Canberra Equity Bursary

The University of Canberra Equity Bursary provides financial assistance to eligible students from recognised equity groups to help them overcome barriers to education and participate fully in their studies. The bursary can help cover course materials, essential technology, and other study-related needs. It is available for eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Canberra. Awards are discretionary and based on demonstrated circumstances such as financial need, disability, rural or regional background, refugee or humanitarian status, or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.

Up to AUD 2,000 to help cover course materials, essential technology and other study-related needs.

Applicants must belong to a recognised equity group and meet the bursary conditions; applicants must demonstrate relevant circumstances such as financial need, disability or personal illness, rural or regional background, refugee or humanitarian status, or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.

Review bursary conditions and submit an expression of interest via email to wellbeing@canberra.edu.au; applicants prepare required documents (transcripts, income proof, ID, statement of purpose, recommendation letters as applicable) for assessment by the scholarship provider.
