TWAS-TÜBİTAK Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2024-2025

The TWAS-TÜBİTAK Postgraduate Fellowship Programme is a sandwich fellowship for foreign scholars from developing countries who wish to pursue part of their research toward a PhD in natural and related applied sciences. Fellowships are tenable for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months in Turkey at public or private universities or TÜBİTAK Research Centers and Institutes. Costs are covered through a combination of travel support, a monthly living allowance, medical facilities, and waived or covered study fees by the host institutions.

Be a permanent resident and national of a developing country; hold a master’s or equivalent degree in natural and related applied sciences; must be under 35 years old on 31 December of the application year; must have an official acceptance letter from an eligible Turkish host institution; must not already hold a visa for Turkey or a developed country; must intend to pursue part of a PhD in the specified fields.

Submit online application via the TÜBİTAK TYBS system after creating a profile on ARBİS; acceptance letters from host institutions in Turkey are required.
