RIDT Travel Grants for International Conferences (University of Malta)

The RIDT Travel Grants are offered by the University of Malta's Research, Innovation and Development Trust to support doctoral researchers who wish to present their work at international conferences abroad. The scheme funds essential conference-related costs and aims to increase the international visibility of doctoral research conducted at the University of Malta. Applications are reviewed periodically with multiple calls each year.

Conference registration fees; international travel (air or train); accommodation during the conference; daily subsistence allowance.

Applicants must be officially enrolled as doctoral (Ph.D.) candidates at the University of Malta, must not have previously received this RIDT travel grant, and must not have alternative funding for the conference.

Respond to the open call (published in January, May and October), complete the University of Malta official application form (Form A), provide conference acceptance letter, research summary and a detailed travel budget, and submit to the doctoral school/selection committee for evaluation.
