Commonwealth Foundation Grants Programme 2024

The Commonwealth Foundation Grants Programme 2024 is a funding opportunity for not-for-profit civil society organisations to implement projects that facilitate constructive engagement between civil society and government within priority themes such as health justice, freedom of expression, and climate justice. Grants support projects with a total amount between £15,000 and £30,000 per year for up to two years, to be implemented in one or more eligible Commonwealth member countries. Applications are submitted online via the Foundation's application platform.

The applicant must be a not-for-profit civil society organisation (CSO) registered in an eligible Commonwealth Foundation member country. Newly registered organisations (less than three years) are not eligible. Projects must be implemented in the country of registration and may include multiple eligible member countries; proposals must address at least one priority theme and demonstrate adequate governance and partnerships.
