Open Competitie ENW-XS pakket 25-3

The Open Competitie ENW-XS is a competitive grant line offering up to €50,000 for high-risk, high-gain, curiosity-driven research within the seven ENW disciplines. Projects are short (maximum one year) and may cover personnel, material, citizen science activities and travel for experiments; postdoctoral applicants may request their own salary. Applications are assessed anonymously and organised into disciplinary clusters and priority groups.

Research grant up to €50,000 to fund project costs and (where eligible) salary for postdocs; support for personnel, materials, citizen science and travel.

Researchers who hold a paid appointment for at least the duration of the application process and the proposed research, including professors and/or holders of a PhD, may apply. ENW-XS is explicitly open to postdocs; additional conditions apply for appointing PhD candidates or clinician-researchers.

Submit an anonymous application via the ISAAC application and reporting system using the downloadable forms; applicants choose a cluster (Life Sciences or Physical and Exact Sciences) and follow the call's submission instructions.
