Cardiff University Bursary (Financial Support)

The Cardiff University Bursary is an institutional financial support award for full-time undergraduate students at Cardiff University. It provides an annual cash payment to eligible students to help with living costs. The award is automatically allocated based on student finance data and household income criteria and may be renewed each academic year if eligibility continues. Certain programmes such as PGCE, workplace apprenticeship years and NHS-funded health courses are excluded.

A payment of £500 GBP per year; annual renewal while criteria are met; automatic allocation without a separate application.

Full-time undergraduate students who are eligible for UK student funding with household income below £35,000; excludes PGCE students, workplace apprenticeship years and NHS-funded health courses.

No application required; the university receives student finance data and automatically awards the bursary to eligible students. Students must allow sharing of financial information with the university and withdraw funds before 30 June of the academic year.
