Swansea University Academic Excellence Bursary

The Swansea University Academic Excellence Bursary is an undergraduate scholarship that rewards academic merit for new full-time bachelor students. It is awarded automatically based on achieved A-Level (or equivalent) results and supports students throughout their degree subject to satisfactory academic progression. The award is paid annually in three instalments across the duration of the undergraduate programme.

£1,000 per year for three years (total £3,000), conditional on progression

New full-time undergraduate students who obtain AAA at A-Level or an equivalent qualification; General Studies is excluded from the calculation; applicants must be enrolling in an eligible programme not already receiving specific external funding.

Apply for admission to a qualifying undergraduate course; obtain the required A-Level (or equivalent) results; accept the bursary and provide bank details before the end of the first term.
