About this opportunity
The UNHCR DAFI Scholarship Programme provides qualified refugee and returnee students with the possibility to earn an undergraduate degree in their country of asylum or home country. The scholarship covers ISCED level 6 degrees (bachelor’s) and can include short-cycle tertiary education and TVET programmes, with UNHCR and its education partner supporting scholars and host institutions. The programme does not cover master’s studies and varies in package by country.

Eligibility
Applicant must be a recognized refugee or asylum seeker living in Rwanda; priority to those with excellent academic performance; must have been admitted to a university in Rwanda; only one family member can apply; current beneficiaries of another higher education scholarship are not eligible; women and persons with special needs are encouraged to apply.
