Novo Nordisk Foundation Denmark
2026
Information
Project grants for novel science communication and public dialogue support creative projects that communicate natural sciences and technology and facilitate public dialogue on topics including research, sustainability, climate, energy production and health. Grants are awarded to administrating institutions or organisations that run projects targeting children, young people and/or the general population within the Danish Realm. Projects may range from pre-projects to multi-year initiatives and must demonstrate novelty, engagement of target groups and plans for dissemination and impact assessment.
Benefits
Monetary grants to cover project costs including salaries, operating expenses, travel, evaluations, external auditing and limited administrative support
Eligibility
The administrating institution must be a public institution and/or nonprofit organisation (including educational institutions, municipalities, research institutions, museums or associations) based in the Danish Realm. Private commercial companies may apply for non-commercial projects that benefit a wider group in society but must complete and attach a questionnaire in the Foundation's NORMA system. Only one main application across the Foundation's three 2026 Education & Outreach calls is permitted per main applicant.
Application
Applications submitted via the Foundation's grant application procedures (NORMA); private companies must attach a completed public-benefit questionnaire. Applicants must indicate if an application is a pre-project and adhere to rules on main-applicant submissions across related calls.
