Semper Ardens Accelerate

Semper Ardens Accelerate is a 3–5 year framework grant to consolidate an independent research group or research environment for newly appointed tenured associate professors or senior researchers. Grants may be used to cover research expenses, equipment, travel, salaries for research staff and PhD students, and related costs. Grant recipients are invited to participate in a research leadership course and networking events with other grant holders.

Maximum DKK 7 million; coverage for consumables, equipment, travel, research stays, conferences, research leadership course and networking; salaries for postdocs, PhD students, research assistants (limited), and student assistants.

Applicants must be tenured associate professors or senior researchers appointed for a maximum of two years at the application deadline, holding a position corresponding to at least 80% FTE at one or more Danish, Greenlandic or Faroese research institutions. Applicants are expected to dedicate at least 50% of their active research time to the project.
