Semper Ardens Accomplish

Semper Ardens Accomplish is a five-year framework grant for recently tenured, internationally recognised professors to pursue innovative and ambitious research projects. Grants are intended to prioritise projects that venture into new scientific territory. The grant supports research costs including consumables, equipment, travel and research stays, and may cover salaries for postdocs, PhD students and short-term project staff. The total grant amount must be within DKK 10–13 million.

Five years of funding; DKK 10–13 million total to cover research costs, equipment, travel, research stays, conferences and specified salary costs (postdocs, PhD students, short-term staff).

Applicants must be recently tenured internationally recognised professors appointed for a maximum of four years at the application deadline, employed at least 80% at one or more Danish research institutions throughout the grant period, and must be able to devote at least 50% of their research time to the project. The majority of the work must be carried out in Denmark and Danish hospitals are not considered research institutions.
