The Inlaks Residency at UNIDEE, Italy

The Inlaks Residency at UNIDEE is a two-month research residency offered to an Indian emerging practitioner to support research-based artistic practice and socially engaged art. The residency takes place at Cittadellarte–Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella, Italy and includes studio time, expert visits, curatorial meetings and study trips to Italian cities. The programme is aimed at strengthening artistic initiatives that engage with local ecologies and social transformation.

Return travel and local transfer, travel and medical insurance and visa fees, two months' accommodation and studio access, organised expert visits/curatorial meetings/networking, study trips to Venice/Turin/Milan with costs covered, up to €300 production/translation budget, €900 per diem.

Applicants must be Indian passport holders currently resident in India, born on or after 1 January 1991, fluent in English, and may be emerging practitioners (artists, curators, writers, activists, cultural practitioners) working in socially engaged art, social practice, curatorial practice or community organisation. Applicants must not have received any prior overseas grant from the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation.
