The Chevening British Library Southeast Asian Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded international fellowship hosted by the British Library and co-funded by the British Library and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. It is open to mid-career professionals from Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand who wish to research rare printed works in Southeast Asian languages and contribute to the library’s collection through cataloguing, digitisation, and related activities. The fellowship provides living expenses, return economy airfare, an allowance for fellowship activities, and up to £1,000 for approved project-related expenses, for a 12-month placement in the UK from September 2027 to September 2028.
