International Research Agendas Measure (IRAP FENG)

The International Research Agendas Measure (IRAP FENG) is a competitive funding programme to establish or develop specialised, world-leading research groups and organisations in Poland. It supports R&D work, including industrial research and experimental development, carried out in cooperation with at least one foreign research unit and addressing topics within the National Smart Specialisations. Funding does not cover basic research.

Project funding of up to PLN 30,000,000 (or up to EUR 8,000,000 for Teaming of Excellence receivers); support for R&D activities including industrial research and experimental development.

Applicants are research organisations; the applicant designates a Head Researcher of the Project who must hold a scientific degree and lead one of the research groups. Projects must be implemented in Poland and carried out in cooperation with at least one foreign research unit.

Applications must be completed according to the Application Manual and submitted electronically via the FNP electronic system at https://wnioski2023.fnp.org.pl.
