Small Meetings & Events Funds

The Small Meetings & Events Funds provide financial support for meetings and events in the UK related to cardiovascular disease. The scheme supports dissemination, translational collaboration, patient and public engagement, and focused interdisciplinary workshops, with particular benefit for early career researchers. Eligible costs include organisational costs for physical and virtual meetings, economy travel and accommodation for keynote speakers, modest prizes or travel bursaries, and printing/advertising. Recurring funding for regular meetings is generally not available, though exceptional second awards up to £1500 may be considered.
