Resestipendier (Travel Grants)

The Wenner-Gren Resestipendier are travel grants for researchers who hold a doctorate and are conducting research in Sweden. Grants support specific research travel with a stated purpose, destination and period, and applicants must detail costs and other funding sought. Applications are assessed for the significance of the trip to ongoing or planned research and for active participation in conferences or workshops. Grants are awarded twice yearly for travel in specified 12-month windows.

Applicants must be researchers who hold a doctorate. Swedish doctoral researchers must be active in Sweden and have defended their doctorate within the past seven years; foreign doctoral researchers must have been resident in Sweden for more than one year at the time of application and have a doctorate not older than seven years.
