McKnight Scholar Awards

The McKnight Scholar Awards provide multi-year research support to exceptional neuroscientists in the early stages of establishing an independent laboratory and research career. Up to ten Scholars are selected to receive three years of support to advance research on disorders of learning and memory. Awardees join a community of current and former McKnight awardees and attend the McKnight Conference on Neuroscience during and after the award period.

Three years of research support totaling $225,000; participation in the McKnight Conference on Neuroscience for three years and ongoing access to the McKnight awardee community.

Applicants must be neuroscientists in the early stages of establishing an independent laboratory and research career and must demonstrate ability to solve significant problems in neuroscience and commitment to an equitable and inclusive lab environment.
