Ireland Fellows Programme – Africa 2026

The Ireland Fellows Programme – Africa offers fully funded master’s level scholarships to early- and mid-career professionals from eligible African countries. Funded by the Government of Ireland and managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the programme enables selected candidates to study at higher education institutions in Ireland and aims to support leadership and development in their home countries.

Full financial support for a one-year master’s program in Ireland, including tuition, travel, stipend, accommodation and insurance, plus orientation and academic support.

Open to applicants who are nationals and residents of eligible African countries, seeking to undertake a one-year master’s program in Ireland.

Applications are submitted online through a three-stage process: preliminary application, full application, and interview.
