Information

The Ireland Fellows Programme – Kader Asmal Fellowship is a fully-funded scholarship oppor­tunity for South African students to pursue a Master’s degree in Ireland. It is an initiative of the Embassy of Ireland in South Africa, under the Ireland-Africa Fellows Programme, targeting early-career professionals with leadership potential and a focus on SDGs and women’s leadership in STEM.

Eligibility

Applicants must be resident nationals of South Africa with at least two years of relevant work experience, hold a bachelor's degree with a strong GPA, not currently or previously holding a master’s level qualification, and be able to commence a Master’s programme in Ireland in 2027/2028.
