Ireland Fellows Programme – Kader Asmal Fellowship 2027/2028

The Ireland Fellows Programme – Kader Asmal Fellowship is a fully-funded scholarship oppor­tunity for South African students to pursue a Master’s degree in Ireland. It is an initiative of the Embassy of Ireland in South Africa, under the Ireland-Africa Fellows Programme, targeting early-career professionals with leadership potential and a focus on SDGs and women’s leadership in STEM.

Tuition and other fees, travel, accommodation, living stipend, book and study allowances, visa costs, and settling allowances

Applicants must be resident nationals of South Africa with at least two years of relevant work experience, hold a bachelor's degree with a strong GPA, not currently or previously holding a master’s level qualification, and be able to commence a Master’s programme in Ireland in 2027/2028.
