Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – Indonesia and Timor-Leste 2026

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) – Indonesia and Timor-Leste 2026 provides modest funding to support small-scale, high-impact local development projects that align with Global Affairs Canada priority areas. Projects are designed and led by local partners and are selected by the relevant Canadian embassy or high commission. The program aims to foster local civil society work and strengthen bilateral relations by funding initiatives implemented at the local level.

Eligible recipients include local non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations, local academic institutions, international NGOs working on local development, intergovernmental and regional bodies, municipal or regional government institutions, and Canadian NGOs working on local development.
