KAAD Germany Scholarship Programme 2026/2027 (Masters & PhD) for Developing Countries

KAAD offers postgraduate scholarships for citizens from developing countries to pursue master’s or PhD studies (or research stays) in Germany. The program is administered by regional partner committees and targets applicants with professional experience who aim to study or conduct research in Germany, with preference given to development-oriented studies. Selected scholars typically receive support including visa facilitation, flights, language training, and related assistance.

Visa support, travel flights, language training, and other administrative assistance related to studying or researching in Germany.

Citizens from developing or emerging countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America who hold a university degree and professional experience and wish to obtain a master’s degree or PhD in Germany (or conduct a post-doctoral research project).
