African Radio Engagement Initiatives 2026

Pulitzer Center invites local media or radio outlets in East, Southern, and West Africa to submit proposals for participatory radio programs inspired by Pulitzer Center-supported stories. Proposals should address labor rights, livelihoods, climate justice, and community engagement, with the aim of amplifying journalism at the intersection of climate and labor. The Radio Engagement Initiative offers financial support of up to $2,500 to eligible outlets or media organizations.
