Japanese Government MEXT Scholarships [Embassy Track] 2026/2027 for Teacher Training Students

Call for applications for the MEXT scholarship program in Japan for Teachers Training Students in the Academic year beginning in October 2026. The Government of Japan provides scholarships for primary/secondary school teachers who wish to take teacher training and Japanese language courses in Japan. Benefits include a monthly allowance and coverage of tuition, with travel arrangements provided by the program.

Monthly allowance, coverage of tuition and other university-related fees, transportation to and from Japan, and a return flight upon completion

Open to graduates of universities and teacher training colleges who have worked as teachers for at least five years and are no more than 34 years old at the time of application, and who are willing to study in Japan.
